That’s right.
Facebook’s algorithm detected this pic and removed it thinking it was child porno! How ridiculous !
It was only after massive outcry that Facebook let users’ re-post this iconic image.
My point being -
Social media like Facebook needs human evaluators in-spite of its nerdy algorithms. Algorithms couldn’t detect whether that image was a porno or not. It couldn’t understand its historical significance. That’s where humans comes in to play.
That’s where Social Media Evaluators and Social Media Moderators comes into play.
And you my friend can be one of them right after you finish reading this post.
Let’g go a little deeper in to these two positions, shall we?
- SOCIAL MEDIA EVALUATORS
Social Media Evaluators are people who evaluate sponsored ads on their social news feed to see how relevant they are to them. They have to give coherent opinion on the ads that they see on their wall.
It is a very simple job and doesn’t require any analytical or technical skills.

Leapforce is an American MNC based in Pleasanton, California that specializes in hiring home-based independent contractors from all over world. They hire people who speak English, Arabic, Russian, Spanish, Italian, Hindi, French, German, etc.
You should be taken to a page like this -
Select your country and language, and sign up with them.
What is the pay rate ?
- $13. 5 for Americas (North and South)
- $14 for Europe ( English people and select Europeans)
- $7 for Asians ( Indians, Filipinos, Indonesians, Egyptians, etc)
Is there a qualification test?
Yes. No one is going to pay you $7 or $13.5 an hour if you can’t prove that you’re deserving of it.
Is the qualification test tough?
Not quite. If you study the guidelines, it is pretty easy.

There is another position where we can make money from Social Media. And that position is known as Social Media Moderator. Let’s find out what that is -
- SOCIAL MEDIA MODERATOR
Social media moderators are people who monitors Facebook comments, tweets,etc on the official pages or Twitter handles of big MNCs.
Their job is to stop slander, de-escalate, give correct info if a user is asking for some info, report the matter immediately to their clients if and when needed.
Now we can’t possibly have those jobs directly from big brands right. But there are companies that hire such moderators.
I have applied for Crisp Thinking as they are well known and they seem to pay the highest in the market.

How much do they pay?
I don’t know the exact figure as I don’t work with them yet. But according to Glassdoor, their pay rate is about £10 per hour. For India, it should be £5 per hour.
Is there a qualification test?
Yes, there was a 25 question test based on a simple guideline which you can memorized within 10–15 mins. It wasn’t tough at all but I got to wait for the results.
{ They will get back to me this week (last week of Jan,2017) and if I’m selected, they will call me and will probably have a telephonic interview as well }.

If your English is not so good and you are better off in Hindi, you can work for Hindi language positions as well. All you have to do is sign up here
and select the country India - Hindi Language ( it is below India- English language) from the drop down menu.
There are less applicants for it and you may probably hear back sooner from Leapforce if you apply for Hindi language position.

Thousands have signed up for the positions mentioned above. And many people have gone on to qualify for those companies and are already working.
But not everyone could crack the qualification tests. And I know that you are frustrated and would probably compromise morality and truthfulness and do anything it takes to make it to these companies.
Hence this scam -
There are scammers popping up around for Search Engine Evaluator and Social Media Evaluator position, who would ping people in Facebook guaranteeing a job in these companies, in exchange for few thousand bucks.
NEVER EVER FALL FOR THIS TRAP.
Don’t pay them because, these companies constantly changes their exam questions and these scamsters won’t be able to get you a job even if you pay them thousands to write your exam.
If you somehow manage to get through to these companies, you would be kicked out again because you didn’t really qualify for the job. You will be kicked out in few weeks as there are constant quality checks and evaluation.
