Today we’re going to talk about rooting android device using PC, I originally tested KingoRoot on a Samsung S7, Nexus 7, Asus and Nexus 5; Process proved fast and easy. Recently, I used it to root onePlus 3T, and this time it was easier – because the app did all the work as I expected. So here are the steps to root android device the official way.
Requirement
- Device powered ON
- At least 50% battery level or high
- Internet connection is necessary
- Backup your Android
- USB Cable (the original one recommended or properly working)
- KingoRoot for PC
Steps to Root Android Device Using PC
Step 2. Next, Double click on the KingoRoot Application to launch on your PC. After launching Kingo Android Root, you will see its interface as shown below.
Step 3. Next, Connect your Android device to your computer via USB cable.
Step 4. If your device driver is not installed on your Computer, KingoRoot will automatically install it. Make sure you are connected to the Internet, so that device driver can be downloaded. If you are using Windows 8, you may need to change some settings first. When running Kingo Android Root on Windows 8, the issue you may most likely encounter is driver installation looping. Step 5. Next, Enable USB Debugging mode on your Android device.
To do this.
- Go to Settings > About Phone > Build number > Tap it 7 times to become developer;
- Settings > Developer Options > USB Debugging.
Note: A prompt window will pop-up on your device screen. Tick “Always allow from this computer”. If you do not, then you will probably find yourself an offline device.
Step 6. After successfully completed the above steps. Now click on “Root” button on your PC to root your device.
Kingo Android Root will employ multiple exploits on your device, Which will take a couple of minutes to root your Android device, your device may be rebooted several times under the process. And once it is done, please DO NOT touch, move, unplug or perform any action on your device.
That’s it your device is successfully Rooted, Hopefully, your device is well supported. Until your device reboots itself, do not operate
To check your android device is successfully rooted or not normally, you will find an app named “SuperUser” installed on your device after successful rooting.
