Getting a free Facebook ad coupon is not as easy as it used to be, but it is still possible. Back in 2015, Facebook stopped giving away coupon codes. But we’ve heard rumors of small business owners getting their hands on coupons, so we reached out to numerous people to find out how they were able to get free Facebook advertising. Here’s what we found.

Facebook Advertising Coupons – Where Did They Go?
It used to be that Facebook had many different promotions in which they gave out free $50 advertising coupons. If you do a search for “Free Facebook Coupons” on Google you’ll probably see some results like this:
- Free coupon when you buy WordPress hosting through GoDaddy
- Free coupon when you setup a DIY website through specific website builders
- Free coupon when you “like” Facebook’s Marketing page
Unfortunately none of these are still active. In response to third-party companies reselling these coupons, Facebook started restricting access to free advertising coupons in mid-2015.
“One of the only ways to get a free Facebook ad coupon these days is randomly when you set-up a new ads manager account with Facebook. Even companies like GoDaddy have discontinued providing coupon codes for Facebook and you won’t be able to find them on sites like Fiverr anymore.”

Facebook still gives out coupons to its users on a semi-random basis. For example, if you are new to Facebook advertising and you start the process of creating your first ad, there’s a chance that Facebook will offer you an advertising coupon to entice you to complete your ad.
