When Hayat is escaping from her house, Hasmet catches her. He tells her not to, and that she will regret it, but Hayat says that she will be happy and that she loves Murat, so Hasmet has nothing to say, and lets her go. Meanwhile, Murat finds a letter from his mother. Through this letter, he learns that his mother is alive and that she left him to fulfill her dreams, which his grandmother knew all along. He is terribly hurt and confronts Azime, saying that he won’t forgive any of them. Then Hayat and Murat get married to their friends present, but Murat hasn’t forgotten all the pain which he had gone through because of Hayat. When they enter the house after the marriage, Murat treats Hayat badly and tells her that he can’t forgive her. He asks her to sleep in another room, which hurts Hayat. Hayat tries to make Murat forgive her, but Murat is still not able to forgive her, and he tortures her mentally. Being hurt, Hayat goes to a bar and drinks a lot. Murat finds her and then takes her home. Drunk, Hayat says everything she wanted to tell him for long. They then spend some romantic moments together.

Murat sleeps beside her, as she was not in her senses. In the midnight, Hayat wakes up, and seeing him beside her, she gets ecstatic. She then takes some selfies with him. The next day, Ipek sees Murat with a girl in a restaurant and takes photos of them hugging. She doesn’t inform Hayat about this. Hayat suspects this, however, because Murat’s shirt smells like women’s perfume. Murat denies her accusation and tells her that he wouldn’t do something like that ever. The next night, when Hayat sees Murat storming out of their house in a hurry after having a phone call, she follows him with Doruk. (episode 20) She catches him red-handed, but Murat doesn’t tell her even then. When Hayat, along with Asli and Ipek, confronts the girl (Hazel), she says that Murat is her elder brother. Hayat feels guilty for not trusting Murat, comes to the office, and hugs him with love, telling him she will meet him at their house at night. Hazal comes to Murat’s office, asking for money for their ‘late’ mother’s loans. As he listens to her talk, he receives a call from the lawyer, saying that his mother had no daughter, but that Hazal might be adopted.

Murat asks the lawyer to do a background check on Hazal. Murat feels deceived and gets angry. He asks Hazal to tell him the truth, with the promise that he will give her as much money as she wants. She nervously denies the truth, gets angry at Murat, and rapidly escapes the office. Hazal bumps into Hayat acts as if she were hurt by Murat, and asks Hayat for money. Unknowingly, Hayat gives her the money. As Hazal leaves Hayat, Murat calls Hayat, and they argue over the phone as to why Hayat gave Hazal money, telling her the truth. Hayat gets anxious and follows Hazal to a hospital where Murat goes. They learn that Murat’s mother, Layla, is in the hospital. Hiding from Murat, Layla and Hazal escape the hospital. (episode 21) Meanwhile, Ipek and Kerem decide to get married. At an office party, Murat gets jealous, seeing Hayat come in with a different guy, and Hayat gets jealous, seeing a girl flirt with Murat. Murat gets angry and punches the guy. Hayat questions Murat about their married life, and, in anger, slaps Murat, leading to another rift between them. Hayat leaves to go to her maternal house. In the morning, Hazal comes to the office again.

Ipek, Asli and Hayat call Kerem, and they unknowingly ask Murat and Hayat to talk, but Murat and Hayat avoid talking to each other. The girls and Kerem suspect something fishy between the newlyweds. Murat comes to Hayat’s house for dinner and emotionally tells her about his mother, during which he gets a call from a lady crying. He quickly realizes it is his mother and leaves immediately to find out where she is. Kerem, Doruk, Murat and Azime come to Hayat’s house for an official meet for Kerem and Ipek’s marriage. As they enter, Murat notices that Hayat is not wearing her wedding ring, and he gets upset at her. Derya and Layla have an argument when Layla comes to their house. After a while, Murat gets a call from the hospital, informing him of his Mother’s accident. He leaves immediately and reaches the hospital in tears. Murat tries his best to win Hayat over, but she says that they are over. In episode 24, she comes to his house because she is worried. Azime closes the door and tells her family that they got back together for the sake of their family. At the end of episode 24, she decides to forgive him, but Emre sent Murat pictures of her with him, which made her look like she was working with the guy that Murat punched when in reality she didn’t.
